Dr. Nikhil Bhuskute

Dr. Bhuskute is a Consultant Radiologist with specialisation in Sports Imaging, Musculoskeletal imaging and Gynaecological Imaging. He undertakes ultrasound, CT and MRI scanning as well as a wide range of minimally invasive interventional radiology procedures for both NHS and private patients. Dr. Bhuskute is based at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, Yorkshire, and for private clients Spire Elland Hospital and The Huddersfield BMI Hospital, Yorkshire, UK. Dr. Bhuskute has dual Masters degree , while qualifications include FRCR, MRCS, MS, MBBS.

Brief Information About Dr. Nikhil

Dr Bhuskute qualified as doctor in 1995 from University of Mumbai. He then completed his Masters in Surgery with interest in sports injuries from the same university. After moving to UK, he completed his surgical training and gained MRCS. He further completed his post graduate training in radiology from West Yorkshire, UK. Currently he is attached to Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust. Dr. Bhuskute is a Consultant Radiologist with sub-speciality interests in  Musculoskeletal radiology,Pelvic imaging and minimally invasive image guided procedures. He practices in all radiology modalities including CT, MRI, ultrasound and fluoroscopy. He is a core member of Yorkshire Cancer Services Network for Gyanecological cancers.

 

He works with the reputed West  Yorkshire Foot and Ankle Clinic (http://wyfac.co.uk/about-us/) and various other local shoulder , knee and spine specialists. He reads wide range of complex musculoskeletal MRI and CT scans. He performs various ultrasound and Xray guided joint injections , both diagnostic and therapeutic. He is amongst few radiologist performing successful shoulder barbotage and hydrodilatation procedures locally.

 

Pelvic imaging work in all modalities include gynaecology, rectum, urinary bladder and prostate pathologies.
